What PairVault does
Aqara Drive Camera

Every smart home accessory ships with a setup code: eight or eleven digits on a tiny sticker, printed on the device itself or on the box it came in. You need it to pair, and you'll need it again the day you reset that accessory, move house, or switch to a new hub. By then the sticker is behind a light fitting, up a wall, or in packaging you threw out two years ago. PairVault keeps every one of them in one place.

Features
Everything about an accessory, kept where you can find it
Scan once, keep forever
Scan the QR on the accessory, its box or its manual, or type the digits in. The code is stored and shown the way it's printed.
Pair again in seconds
PairVault rebuilds a scannable QR from what it saved, so you pair from your phone instead of unscrewing a fitting to read a sticker.
Imported for you
Connect to Apple Home and accessories appear automatically with names, rooms, homes, manufacturers and models. Choose which homes to import from. Setup codes are the one thing Apple Home never shares, so each code is added once by hand.
Battery at a glance
Current level, a history chart, and a warning when one is running low.
Private by design
Your codes never reach us. They stay on your device and sync only through your own private iCloud, secured by your Apple Account and end-to-end encrypted if you use Advanced Data Protection. There are no accounts to create.
Locked down
Face ID, Touch ID or passcode, with a configurable auto-lock delay.

Frequently asked questions
Is PairVault free?
Your first five accessories are free, permanently. There's no trial period and no expiry. A single one-time payment unlocks unlimited accessories.
Is it a subscription?
No. One payment, once, forever. There are no recurring charges.
If I don't pay, do I lose access to my first five?
No. They stay yours regardless of what you decide. Nothing is ever deleted or hidden to pressure a purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds go through Apple, the same as any App Store purchase, via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Can I get my data out of the app?
Yes. Export to PDF for printing, or to a spreadsheet, Markdown or JSON file, covering everything or just what you select.
What if I switch phones?
If iCloud sync is on, everything is already there the moment you sign in on the new device. If it's off, export first and use that as a manual backup.
Do my codes sync between devices?
Yes, through your own private iCloud, encrypted end-to-end if you turn on Advanced Data Protection.
Why can't PairVault import my setup codes from Apple Home automatically?
That's an Apple restriction, not a PairVault one: Apple Home never shares setup codes with third-party apps. Each code just needs scanning or typing in once, and PairVault remembers it from then on.
